An 8mm colour silent film of that Fancy Dress partying was recorded. It lasts for about four minutes and concetrates on the party in general, rather than the band in particular. But Brian and his Red Special can been seen clearly.
31.03.1967 Brian went into a recording studio for the first time with his band 1984 at
Thames Televisions Broom Road Studios in Teddington. They recorded a number of cover versions
and two versions of "Step On Me". This was all arranged by Dave Dilloway, who had some student
friends who wanted 'guinea pigs' for a sound engineering experiment.
